Bread Pudding

  • 300 g bread
  • 30 g butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt

Technique

  1. Grease pan and dump bread in.
  2. Mix everything else.
  3. Soak bread for 30 minutes, to overnight. If the bread floats, squish it to help it soak up the custard.
  4. Bake at 160C/325F for 30-40 minutes. Check for internal temp of 75C/165F.
